Dr. Cem Baysal

Ive been using Dr Cem Bysal since 2017. Im not exaggerating, he is the best dentist in turkey by far. Ive had other friends use cheaper dentists in turkey and they have had noting but trouble. (So I guess you get what you pay for) Unfortunately I grind my teeth at night so have had to go back for more work. Ive had 24 crowns. 3 implants. The laboratory which make the teeth at AAA. If you try to save a you will end up regretting it. He speaks perfect English, the minute I entered his surgery I felt comfortable. He also teaches in a university so hes actively keeping up the good work. My dentist for life. From Manchester England.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place for the dental treatment. The implants work I had ended up having big issues just one month after he installed them. He has some kind of mental illness based on his attitude and movements. He is also the most expansive hiw he charges.

This place is terrifying how he works. All that he does is just implant work, no matter if the person needs an impalnt or not, why? Because that is easy, fast and having good money. He doesn't spend time on any other things like root canal, cleaning putting bridgs even if the patient needs those kinds of treatment because those works have no good money. He screwed the korean implant brand into your gum without knowing if your gum is a good fit without having a bone grafting for the implant. Normally, the gum must be x-rayed and get seen by a specialist to get approved whether it's good to have an implant or not, which this guy doesn't do at all. He charged me 7000 for the 4 implants and some crowns, which was horrible like 3 times more expensive than other dentists in the city. So why I am giving a review here ? His work ended up having an issue days after I arrived in the USA. My primary dentist removed one of his crowns and put another one. After weeks, the rest of the crowns found problems they are bleeding all day and totally infected, and all of them have to be removed as soon as possible. He admitted that he had done the work wrong, and he told me to come back, and he would remove all the crowns, and he would do some cleaning and will reglue the crowns back, which is another mess and mistake. Removing crowns and reglueing them won't work because they get cracked while they are being removed. He also has some weird attitude during the work and rushes to finish you as soon as possible to get the other patient next and make additional money. His hands are shaking while he is working. He dropped the pin 3 times in my throat that was about to be swallowed by me, which was scary as hell. Anyone who is coming from the USA and UK, be careful working with this gentleman if the work fails like mine, It's not worth it to go back regardless he fixes it with no charge. And we don't want the attitude from you because you don't do us a favor. You get paid for what what you do for the patients.

After enduring excruciating pain during the preparation for dental implants, crowns, and bridgework (28 crowns including bridge work), I feel compelled to share my experience with others who may consider treatment from Dr. Cem Baysal in Istanbul. My decision to speak out was influenced by a woman's account of her medical treatment in Turkey that I saw on the TV show "This Morning." I want to outline the challenges I faced during my dental treatment. First and foremost, there was no aftercare plan or advice provided. It has been nearly two years since my treatment was completed, yet I have had to visit a UK dentist eight times to re-glue crowns that have come loose and fallen out. I was assured that it was impossible for my crowns to break. Additionally, the staff at the practice often spoke to each other in different languages, and at times, I felt as though they were discussing me and laughing when I was in pain. Despite paying for what was advertised as the best possible treatment using the strongest materials, my UK dental surgeon recently informed me that I have a crack in one of my crowns and a chip in another. This does not match the quality I was promised. After spending over 18,000 on my treatment, I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to Dr. Cem Baysal to think twice. I recently informed Dr. Baysal about these issues, and his response was merely to confirm that I had paid for the strongest materials and that it shouldnt have cracked. His reply was, Let's see you if possible and We can see you better. I found this response quite baffling. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dr. Cem Baysal. I always allow some time before leaving a review while everything might seem fine immediately after treatment, the test of time is crucial in assessing the durability of the work performed. Unfortunately, in this instance, it has not held up. BE WARNED.

Flew halfway around the world in search of the right dentist 3 yrs ago. 3 visits later - bone grafts, implants and now crowns - and my faith in Cem Baysal has been rewarded with the most beautiful smile - so lovely in fact I couldn't believe the smile was mine. The dental work he has done has been so very very good. And I have complete faith in the work he has done. And when you get dental work done that's how you need to feel about the dentist - confident. Cem and his team - Aylin, Emine, Nesrin and Onur have been amazing and truly supportive. I really just can't recommend Cem and his team enough. Thank you, thank-you and thank you. Professionalism, competence and empathy are a rare combination. I have experienced dental appointments in the past. I have never had a more pleasant and positive experience as I had with you and your wonderful staff. From the front desk to billing, especially your dental assistants, I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication. I was so comfortable whilst I was in the dental surgery. Everyone is so friendly and I felt like I was a priority to everyone. When I walked in everyone would always give me a warm welcome. I recently visited Dr. Cem Baysal for dental work, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. From the moment I stepped into his clinic, I felt like I was in great hands. Dr. Baysal was not only professional but also warm and attentive, which made me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions and making sure I understood the procedure. His calm and caring demeanor really helped ease any nervousness I had. I had an issue with my gum and old crowns, I have been prescribed antibiotics for almost a year which didnt help!! Dr Baysal was able to identify the problem from the moment I showed him the photos. I traveled from the UK to Istanbul to get the dental treatment. Dr Baysal has his special technique using shoulder preparation which fixed a long term problem I suffered with. The result was amazing and very natural, in less than one week my gum issue was cured!! He even made temporary crowns which looked great even with the colour match!! I was impressed watching him carving them while speaking to me and I was thinking what a real artist!! Its not easy to find a good dentist, I give myself credit for doing the right research to find a brilliant, honest dentist. When I say honest I mean it, he advised against doing unnecessary dental treatment( which means I would have to pay more if I didnt follow Dr Baysal advice ) and was fully focused on what treatment really needed. In addition to that, the clinic was easy to find and sparkle clean, appointments were on time, communication was great, a dedicated team, everything was perfect! I now have beautiful teeth and a confident smile. Healing was quick, comfort during and after the procedure ...Amazing. I initially contacted Dr Baysals assistant regarding implant surgery in December 23, fast forward to now, I have a full smile I can confidently show all whilst have had such a pleasant experience. I got a single implant done in two visits to Istanbul. The process was delightful from initially meeting Dr Baysal in February and discussing everything to going back in June after successful osteointegration, my crown is perfect and not only is my smile restored but Im able to comfortably eat, all of which brought me to tears. Such a wonderful team and genuine people who spent a whole evening perfecting everything so I would be able to return home happy! (Dr Cem and his dental assistant stayed till midnight to ensure the colour of my crown was spot on). I felt very well treated throughout the whole process, not only is he a great dentist, but the sweetest person and I have already recommended to many others!

The Dr. is super chill and suggests treatments that genuinely help, not just to make a buck. Many Turkish dentists pushed veneers, but Dr. Cem suggested Invisalign, and I saw changes in under 2 months. Treatment will wrap up in 4 months!

Dr Baysal is an angel! I first met him several years ago when I needed some assistance for dental implants. After researching online I met him in person, and he was able to fix the work that was previously done by someone else. He and his team are professional and kind and he did an amazing job. So much so that I decided to return for Invisalign. That was a great experience and I was really happy with the results. I also always enjoyed visiting with him and his staff and meeting his wife and son. The office welcomed me in like family. Sadly last summer I lost my home to a fire with my night retainer inside. It took several months to return to Istanbul and coordinate an appointment, during which time my teeth shifted. Dr. Baysal found out the reason why I lost the retainer and he did not charge me anything for all of the free work that he did AND all the months of Invisalign. Basically he helped me more than FEMA! He is an incredible dentist, and really kind and loving human. I feel so grateful to have this wonderful doctor. Seeing him will improve your life!

The best and honest not only for his work but as a friend

In September 2023 ben ik bij Dr. Baysal geweest voor de voorbereiding van een implantaat. Omdat het om mijn voortanden ging was enigzins zenuwachtig en bang hoe het e.e.a. zou uitpakken. Hij stelde mij gerust en legde uit dat ik een tijdelijke kroon zou krijgen en dat dit niet zichtbaar zou zijn. Hij maakte zijn belofte waar. Ik heb de tijdelijke kroon 4 maanden gedragen en niemand zag dat het een tijdelijke kroon was. Eind January 2024 ging ik terug en na een CT scan (wat bewijst dat hij grondig te werk gaat) adviseerde hij mij om een aantal zij tanden ook te voorzien van een kroon zodat het estetissch gezien mooier zou zijn. Ondertussen vertrouwde ik volledig op zijn professionele mening en ik ging ervoor. Het noodgebit dat ik in die week gedragen heb zag er uit als mijn gewone gebit. De laatste behandeling, het plaatsen van de abutment en kronen, ging vlot en het eindresultaat was prachtig. Dr. Cem is een zorgzaam persoon, perfectionistisch en zeer bekwaam op zijn werkgebied. Het is mooi om hem en zijn team te zien werken. In de korte tijd dat ik daar was heeft hij mij een eindresultaat gegeven waarmee ik weer met een zeker gevoel kan glimlachen. Tanden bloot natuurlijk Ik raad hem ten zeerste aan!

I travel from Scandinavia to visit dr Cem his work is excellent , and team are efficient and polite .he treats his clients in a clam and understanding manor , I had a bone graft wisdom tooth extraction and an implant done . Zero pain I would and have recommend his services to any one who wishes to listen . I feel very privileged to have some one with dual doctorates and a lecturer from the university to work on me . 5 stars

My experience in Istanbul was unlike anything I'd experienced before. On entering the clinic, his first priority was getting to know me, and news of a mutual friend. When it came around to my teeth (which were a mess) he was very good at explaining condition and options. Sitting in the dental chair, one doesn't need to understand Turkish to know that the friendly banter of the team he leads is a finely honed machine. The work done was excellent and professional. I highly recommend Dr Cem and his clinic.
