Bourne Hall Dental Practice

I highly recommend this dental practice. I was in complete agony this morning after suspecting an infection. So on the off chance went into the practice to see if they could fit me in. They could see how much pain I was in and VERY kindly managed to fit me in. I saw a lovely sympathetic dentist who after seeing the X-ray wrote me a prescription for some antibiotics. What great customer service, I am very grateful.

Bourne Dental Practice. Well what can one say?? The first dentist I ever saw was fantastic! Then in the past two years the practice has gone down hill drastically. 1. The attitude of the receptionist is appalling! 2. The Dentists theyve employed are inexperienced and do not have any manners when theyre talking to their patients. 3. The dental nurses, even though I asked her several times to not interrupt me, she continued to do so. Its amazing they say dont abuse our staff, though do they think its acceptable to speak to patients in a condescending manner! Let me answer that for them! No its NOT!!! Having studied dentistry for 8 years. I would strongly say I would never recommend this dentist to no one! In addition to this dental practice couldnt understand what it means to look after a elderly sick parent and when youre late for an appointment they think theyre gods gift to this world in the way they look down upon you. I think this is utterly appalling! My words were I pray that you never find yourself in my shoes.

Dr Patel has been looking after my teeth for around 10years. Attending the dentist is my worst nightmare Dr Patel makes me feel as at ease as possible he is a total professional and highly skilled.

Can't praise them enough I was absolutely petrified of dentists but they put me at ease I even go for check ups which I've never in my life done before I'm 69 they are absolutely brilliant

What a fantastic practice ! Im a 70 year old with a history of a morbid fear of dentists until I discovered Bourne Hall. Now I attend all checkups and my teeth are better than they have ever been.

Dr Patel has been my dentist for many years and I recommend him wholeheartedly. He is kind as well as highly experienced and skilled, his recommendations about the best way of proceeding are thoughtful, clear and pragmatic, and I trust his judgement completely. When I suddenly needed treatment while I was on holiday he was proactive in liaising with a dentist in the Outer Hebrides to agree a course of action. He did everything he could to overcome a newly developing problem on the last day before the covid lockdowns started, and he saw me again as soon as the surgery reopened to resolve it completely. He took care of our childrens teeth when they were little and still sees my adult son as well as me, treating us almost like his family rather than patients. He also sees us quickly on the occasions when we have an emergency today, within a short slot which was really intended for diagnosis purposes, he identified the problem, decided on a course of action and then, with astonishing focus, dexterity and teamwork, undertook all the work which was needed without overrunning. You could not be with a better dentist.

My first treatment with Mr Patel was an impacted wisdom tooth extraction. I wanted Mr Patel to remove it, rather than go to hospital and have it removed. Mr Patel did an amazing operation and put me at ease explained everything he was doing all the way through. He also made sure I was ok during the complete procedure - always checking before he did the next part of the procedure. Mr Patel is the most kind, gentle and caring dentist I have ever had. I have been a patient of his for 30 years now and My Son too (from before he had his first tooth). Mr Patel makes a visit to the dentist a re assuring experience, rather than one of dread. I am writing this review as Mr Patel recently did a filling for my Son. He was so kind and caring and re assuring to him and made the experience the best it could have been. Thank you -)

I went into this practice 10 years ago having not been to a dentist for about 10 years (a bad root canal experience elsewhere had frightened me off). Dr Patel and his team worked patiently with me to build up my trust and overcome my dental phobia. I now feel totally comfortable in the chair at Bourne Hall dental practice and am so grateful to them for getting me over the pain and problems Id been suffering with.

During this time we have found Dr Patel to be a very sympathetic professional dentist where nothing is too much trouble. He always listens to our problems and puts forward practical remedies. Outstanding practice. Very welcoming and clean. Dr Patel has been looking after my family for years now and he always makes us feel at ease and does the best he can for us. He recently removed four of my sons teeth for braces and he made him feel less nervous as my son was very scared of needles. Would highly recommend this practice to everyone.

Dr Patel his amazing team have been caring for my familys teeth for more than 10 years. My boys absolutely love going to see him for their regular appointments and he always instructs them so well with their dental habits and hygiene. Dr Patel has been looking after my teeth for a long time. I have since moved further away but still choose to travel to the practice due to Dr Patel. Dr Jitash Patel is a first class dentist who has looked after my sometimes challenging teeth incredibly well. He's always chatted through treatment options and come up with a carefully considered plan of action that's in my best long term interests. I trust him implicitly, and many years of care and treatment have confirmed that that trust is well placed. I highly recommend him and his excellent team.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mr Patel puts me and others I have recommended at ease as well as being extremely professional and informative about treatments needed. Highly recommend. The hygienist, Nicola, is also superb.

Amazing dental practice, the receptionists are friendly and the practice is clean and modern. I have been with Dr J Patel for over 30 years he is always extremely caring and puts you at ease explains everything clearly he is very experienced dentist. I would recommend this dental practice.

Took my very nervous daughter-in-law to see Dr Patel he was very reassuring and made her feel comfortable and aware of what needed to be done ,a small filling X-rays were taken and again explained what could be seen . Returned 2 weeks later and she had her filling done and was delighted at how pain free and efficient this was . All the staff are very helpful practice is ultra clean and modern .
