Under new ownership and the best it has been (in my view) in the 21 years Ive been a patient here. Ali and team are brilliant and make a visit to the dentist as positive an experience as it can be.

The reason was that I made an appointment to see the dentist on the 2nd. I confirmed with the front desk many times that day and the answer I got was that the appointment was at 2 pm on the 3rd and I paid the deposit. I arrived here very punctually on the 3rd, but was told that the appointment time was 1055 am. This confused me very much. When I asked the front desk staff, I learned that they sent an email to tell us that the appointment time was 1055. I understand that there is something wrong with this matter and I should check my email, but at the same time I believe that I am not the only one in the world who has this problem of not having time to check emails. When I explained it again and again, the front desk would only repeat one sentence We have sent an email. When I asked the front desk to refund the deposit, I was told that the deposit could not be refunded. This made me very angry. I not only failed to see the dentist, but also made me very angry. You didn't call us either. This is unfair to someone like me who doesn't check emails. It is their hospital's negligence to change the time at will. I don't think any customer can accept such a hospital.

The dentists are good but it's impossible to get an appointment, they never answer the phone and never respond to voicemails or emails and you can't book online

Brighton Dental Centre is excellent. The standards of professionalism and care shown by every dentist I have had the good fortune to have been seen by at this practice over the past 5 years is out-standing. My current dentist, Ali, has been extremely attentive and careful to explain all possible procedures to me in such a way that I feel completely included, at ease, and undaunted by any future course of action, not to mention the pain free experiences I have had with him thus far. His dental assistant, Emily, is also brilliant. (I never feel as if the watersuction aspect of a visit - my least favourite part - will overwhelm, she is quite expert in this regard.) Phoebe and the other receptionists are ceaselessly attentive and patient and the hygienists are also great. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb practice.

I had a very positive experience in the Brighton Dental centre. I want to stress that normally I'm very apprehensive and scared of having dental treatments done, mu gums are sensitive and I have a low pain threshold. Anusha, a new dentist offers a perfect combination, of expertise and kindness. I had my teeth cleaned with a steam jet and polished, she also put some filling in the receding gum at the back whilst using a numbing gel. My teeth have never been so clean before and bits of food don't get stuck in causing inflammation as it used to bother me. No other dentists in the past had offered this solution to me before. I felt safe and was able to trust Anusha and I definitely will be more relaxed in my 6 months check up. The receptionist staff were also helpful and considerate. Well done to Anusha, Phoebe and Layla. Thank you

Seriously they are not picking up the phone, asking for you to leave a message and no one is getting back to you. Not once, not twice, every time I call them I leave a message and they did not call me back. Devastating!!!

This place is an utter joke. I would advise you to find literally anywhere else to go even if you are desperate. Appointments are cancelled at the last minute and when you do finally get one you have to wait hours to be seen with little reason as to why you are waiting - I went twice in two days, sat in the surgery waiting for my appointment for an hour each time and both times told theres an emergency and they cannot say how much longer the dentist will be. I dont think anyone in this practice is interested in NHS patients. This is no way to run a business. In about 8 years of coming here it has always been the same - you might be lucky to get a nice dentist when you are eventually seen but the last time I brought my boys here we had a Spanish dentist who told my boys that they should never become dentists as it is an awful profession with a high suicide rate. Clearly dissatisfied with his job he took two minutes to see them and just painted their teeth without examining them. It is almost impossible to get through on the phone and you get the feeling no one really knows what is going on. Lots of dental nurses walking backwards and forwards and very little calling of patients. My appointment yesterday was at 0830 in the morning and they were already running an hour late which is why I was asked to return today - waited an hour only to be told again that they were running late and had no idea how long we would have to wait. The parking outside on the street is 6 per hour. Honestly, do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

Following previous disappointment with the service, I have been really pleased with the two recent appointments Ive had. My new dentist Ali is fantastic. I recently had an appointment for myself and my 18 month old, Ali was lovely and really patient with my daughter. The reception staff have been really lovely and helpful as well.

After being with this dental practice for over 15 years with no problems during the last three years I have had five appointments all of which have been cancelled all a week before even though there is work that I need on my teeth that is outstanding. The only way you can get through on the phone is by selecting the cancel appointment option to talk to somebody.
