Colchester Dental Clinic

After being transferred from Hillcrest, Rumney, not a great start here. Two genuine reasons to be late for my appointment, on 2 occasions but no cares given. I mean, some people just dont turn up. So if genuine reasons are not a thing, good luck with leading the perfect life. And do make sure nothing happens twice in a row to make you miss your appointment. I better get on and fix that bike puncture now then.

Brilliant. Took my 10yr old to the hygienist. They talked to him, explained everything. Did the job. He was happy. Can't recommend enough.

This professional dental practice are helping and supporting me through various issues I am currently having with my teeth. They seem to understand how I am feeling. Mel on reception is very efficient kind and reassuring and Kate is gentle and has a sensitive and patient manner.

I am a very stressed patient the dentist and the hygienist both took their time explained me everything I knew at each step what was happening. Very friendly staff and I can say no pain as they were really gentle.

Been a patient for 15 years plus. Always had excellent treatment with great explanations from Dr Afroz about treatment and options. Mel on the desk is always very accommodating with my busy lifestyle as I'm always rescheduling appointments. 5 star service, would highly recommend!

Bad management, always delayed, long waiting for an appointment, and poor customer service.

Been a client with them for over 2 years now missed an appointment due to them cancelling on me 3 times and constant re- arranging my appointments which caused me to miss work then missed another which I contacted them previously that week to let them know I had covid symptoms ( become really ill) contact them today with the same problem in alot of pain for them to rudely tell me they've taken me off the system and there's nothing they can do for me. After all the money I have wasted in this dentist to still have the same issue is beyond. Never met a practice where your in mid conversation on the phone with the dentist and the receptionist steps in halfway through to challenge you is just wrong.

It is now 9.31 Monday 12th October. I am at the surgery door to try to speak to someone and it's closed with the shutters down. I have been calling since 9 am and it goes to the pre recorded message, which says that the surgery opens at 9 am... This is not professional.

I have just attended my first apt at Colchester Dental Clinic. I have anxiety and was so nervous to attend but was welcomed and put at ease that I was in safe hands. Dr Afroz was amazing she sat and explained all she was going to do and if I felt she needed to stop at any time to just raise my hand. She helped me concentrate on my breathing and it really helped me a lot. Checkup and Xrays done Dr Afroz went through my dental plan with me and although I need some treatment my teeth are not as bad as what I thought. I have apt to attend shortly and feel this is definately the best Dentistry I have attended. I have also booked my daughters in for a checkup as know they will feel reassured and at ease with Dr Afroz. Thankyou so much.

Ive been going to Colchester Dental Surgery for approximately 9 years now, and I couldnt be happier with quality of services Ive had from the team. From the warm welcoming reception staff, to the expert practices of the dentists and hygienists, you really are in great hands in this surgery. Dr Afroz in particular has been fantastic since I first attended the surgery many years ago. With an almost crippling fear of the dentist since childhood, she has been able to fix all of my dental issues over the years with great skill and patience. Its thanks to Dr Afroz that Im now able to attend the dentist without any worry or anxiety - something I thought Id never do! I would highly recommend this dental surgery if youre looking for quality services, expert practices and a friendly team!

Just rang the Surgery. A very helpful and professional Receptionist took my call and asked me relevant questions in these awful Covid days. Result!!!! A Doctor Joshua returned my call within a very short space of time and told me what was causing my pain. Antibiotics are on their way as I review. So very happy! Such a good practice! Thank you!!

Excellent and professional surgery. Myself, husband and son have attended here for a number of years no. Never an issue with getting an appointment, always seen quickly and efficiently. Impeccable customer service from all staff with a warm and friendly atmosphere awaiting all patients. Have received many successful treatments here including 1 x extraction and 2 x root canals. Highly recommend to all.
