Ivybridge Dental Centre

Very pleased with the care at my new dentist. I hate going to the dentist but they were so kind and reassuring, didn't rush, explained what they were doing and paid great attention to detail. First time I've neither fainted or been sick from shock at a dentist!! Great work.

Opening hours are supposed to be from 9am onwards however I have just called at 0916 and they're closed! I have a dental issue so it looks like I am now heading to AE. Perhaps after going 'private' recently they now charge to open the door on time or answer the phone? Poor.

Looks like they are writing off their NHS patients. I tried to book while I was in with my last checkup and was told I couldn't book myself in for my next appointment because they no longer book in advance of 6 months. Called back after 6 months and was told that I was overdue for an appointment and was being struck off. Then got told it was basically because negotiations had not gone well with the government, so they had no choice and I wasn't actually overdue. Such a shame because they were great for many years.

I had an emergency tooth extraction. Scott my dentist calmly talked me through the procedure and explained what work was going to be carried out. Unfortunately he ran into difficulties with the extraction, again he explained and talked through options. Whilst I was waiting for the infection to pass I received great care via follow-up phone calls and even practice manager Peter took his time to contact me. It certainly put me at ease in returning a month later to complete the treatment. The dental nurses were also so kind to me. Thank you . I really thought I would not ever smile again leaving a dentist but I did on leaving Ivybridge Dental care. Top job

I have used the practise ever since it opened, with Mr Brown. I have had first class treatment with Scott, very friendly puts you at ease. I attended the practise on the 21st of February 2024. Only to be told, the practise is no longer going to treat NH paitients only Private dental treatment will be available, this is due to The Government not giving the dentist enough funding, to carry on treating NH patients.

I have just had some dental treatment with Joe , he is very professional and I would highly recommend him.

Ivybridge dental practice has a wealth of experience and I wouldnt want to use anyone else . Having been to other dentists in the local area and had a bad experience it was refreshing to find such a focused modern forward thinking dental practice that places its patients first . Will most definitely be using again

I hadn't seen my previous NHS dentist for over 2 years and was unable to book in for a check up. I contacted Ivybridge Dental Centre after several people had recommended them. I was given an appointment quickly and every member of the team I have met has been professional and friendly. Their charges are very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Used this dentist for many many years Fitted me in today with no problem after I broke my tooth. Scott was wonderful as always. Lovely staff and always so helpful. Lucky to be registered with them

All my dental treatments and appointments have been professional and respectful. Ben, my dentist is patient and is happy to talk through treatments etc Victoria my hygienist is also professional and and very understanding. Victoria makes a hygienist visit relaxed and welcoming. Also the reception staff are always pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this practice.

Continue serving NHS dentist or go bust please. Disgraceful. Last owner drove round in an expensive subaru so clearly making loads of money and could afford to stay as an NHS dentist

Peter Reville and the rest of the staff have been amazing with my Invisalign treatment. Peter helped me get over my fear of dentists and always knew exactly when to check on me during procedures!

In both my dentist and hygienist appointment I was made so feel so welcome. Lovely, calm atmosphere and reasonably priced compared to others in the area.

After having the same dentist for over 30 years it was quite nerve racking to have a new one, let alone needing a filling on my 2nd visit. All I can say is wow! Having a filling has changed since I last needed one. Joe and Alice were amazing and it was totally pain free and chilled. Thank you for taking over the practice - please stay!!

Tooth out yesterday . Peter and his assistant managed this so well with their expert procedure. Receives a check up phone later on Highly recommended

Ive never been one for enjoying time at the dentists, yet I very rarely have to have any work done lucky me! I went for my routine check up and they decided I needed a visit to the hygienist, so I was booked in a few weeks later to see her. Nice friendly staff, who told me what they were going to do, nice clean bright airy room, very professional overall, just not a procedure I have had to have before. Good follow up appointment 6weeks later which was included in the price. This dentist is both NHS and private. Im not sure if they are currently taking on new NHS patients right now, but its worth an ask. The prices are in keeping with the current cost of living. The waiting area is clean and well laid out with stylish chairs and fancy fake plants that I actually thought were real they are that good! The staff look professional in their matching outfits and the are polite and helpful and welcome you with a smile. There is disabled parking out the front of the building and a lift for wheelchairs inside the front door as the reception etc is on the first floor. The hill up to the building is rather steep but luckily its not a long hill I believe the roof is living which is a nice feature. One of the nicest dental practices Ive been to, I would recommend it.
