Really bad and unhelpful customer service. Just lost a valued customer because they are expecting me to wait two months just to speak to my dentist when I know exactly what I want to book in for. Shocking dont recommend coming here

I attended in 2021, then diagnosed 2022 with renal cancer. Called to arrange overdue check up (they used to send sms reminders but stopped with out any warning) and told I was removed from their books

As a new patient I was extremely nervous . Extraction day was much better than anticipated thanks to Mr Chu Assistant. Reception staff are also friendly and reassuring. Thank you all.

Experianced crunch, pain on back molars. Dentist, assistances, staff were professional and friendly throughout. Recommended a clean followed by filling. Advising future care, possible outcomes etc. Appointment time was appropriate with no cancellations. Happy with service and would recommend. Approx. Two years later. Went for a check up following pain. Back molar (original filling) contained inner tooth decay. Given multiple options extraction, root canal or implant. Went for root canal. Multiple appointments. Surgery was successful, pricing was acceptable. We'll see how long root canal crown lasts with regular treament. Survival rates varies but that's beyond thier control. Overall again, would recommend again.

Emergency appointment all staff from reception to dentist absolutely brilliant,made me feel at ease.

What lovely and friendly the staff were and the dentist I saw put me at ease and explained everything that was happening and what I needed. He spoke to me all the way through my tooth extraction and really calmed me down. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who works there xxx

Amazing treatment, D ward was fantastic and done a wonderful job. She had her work cut out with me but stuck at it. Think she will be glad to see the back off me. i Cant thank her enough. All the staff have been polite

My husband visited yesterday after finally getting an NHS dentist appointment after years of trying. Reception staff were kind and apologised for the delay in the appointment. However when he got into the dentist he found her to be rude and completely disinterested in the dental issues he wanted to discuss. They were really unhelpful.

Very dissapointed as they have taken me off the system and I have never received any e-mail from them saying if you don't book we will take you off our system or whateverbut also the message I received has not got any disclaimer mentioning that if I don't book I will be deleted from the system. If I knew that I would have booked.....as if we haven't got enough in our everyday life but to book an appointment when we don't need to we are basically pressured into booking or else we are taken off (like a threat or book or you are taken off) and you have to waist your time to look again for another dentist. Ridiculous!!! The most incompetent dentist practise so ridiculous

Been kicked of Nhs list without any notice because I never visited in two years.(I was in hospital)come out of hospital with no dentist its inhumane

Best service ever for my dental care, Holly and Sarah are awesome. All the treatment was perfect by very friendly staff. Reception staff excellent service too. Many thanks

Friendly reception staff and my appointment was very detailed with lots of explanation into what was to follow at my next appointment. The dentist I saw and his assistant were also very friendly and professional.

Only way to contact the dentist is via a 0844 number or messenger. Pretty poor really.

Avoid at all costs. I had to have a filling replaced here on my front tooth, initially it was done incorrectly by the first dentist i saw then had to be redone by one of the owners, he chipped the tooth next to it and has caused me to lose half a tooth, 2 years later and I've had to have a root canal and i'm still having issues with the botched work, not to mention the expense its cost me to try to put right. Please avoid!

Absolutely outstanding the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend this dentist.

Have been a patient since 2020. Had a review back end of 2022 and tooth not causing any problem. Abscess started around March 2023, so I call and spoke with an abrupt receptionist. I asked if I could see a dentist as my tooth was causing pain. Six weeks would be the earliest was her reply. I explained I am going to need root canal and crown or a dental implant asap. Abrupt receptionist, you will have to see the dentist on your appointment. I had to get antibiotics from another dentist, other than OAK dental. I wait and see a dentist on my appointment, she tells me its her husband that does the implants so make an appointment at the desk to see him. The antibiotics had removed the abscess so at the time it wasnt an issue. The reception was full of people waiting to talk with receptionist, so I called back in two days later. I explained my tooth was now starting to be painful and I needed to book an appointment for an implant and more antibiotics. Abrupt receptionist, well we dont have anybody doing implants, its just somebody who comes in and that might be July, but we dont know yet. So, i asked about my denplan, if I have to move dentist does that move with me, yes thats probably the best thing to do was her reply. If they dont have implant service, they should have said in my review earlier in the week. Communication is poor at best, I tried emailing reception for two years, never got a reply. I personally would not recommend this dental business to anybody, there is no care, its just a business.

Please do not go to Oak Dental Care Ormskirk, been waiting nearly 2 years to have my wisdom tooth removed, only to find out I wasn't referred from the start, have spoken to staff there regarding this, never had a phone call returned. Lucky I have explained this to the dental hospital who have agreed to see me. Just noticed it cost me 4.67 to phone Oak Dental

Dodgy dentist. Well done, for banning my 84 yr old mother with Parkinson's Dementia for missing her appointment and for writing up false accusation in you notes. And this agenda might explain their passive aggressive behaviour (According to the British Dental Association (BDA), 75 of UK dentists are likely to reduce, or further reduce, their NHS commitment)

Great dentist, but really should sort out a local call phone number in this day and age. 6 to call via mobile this morning. The 01695 number just rings out.
