My husband has just attended the surgery and was treated by a dental practitioner not a fully fledged dentist! They are not qualified to give any pain relief and yet the charge is the same. Its disgraceful and unjustifiable. 220. Shameful.

My Asc and adhd son had an emergency appointment 1752024 due to breaking his front tooth, the dentist, dental assistant were struggling with him, (he walked out twice) and another lady who works there knew we needed help, she explained and got them to show him everything that they were using etc which made him feel more comfortable and put him slightly at ease. I didn't get the lady's name but she was amazing and helped so much. Thankyou!

Always a trainee or newly qualified dentist, the first two dentists i saw for periodontal under gum cleaning were great. The third just qualified dentist i saw for the same treatment was shocking the pain was unbelievable through out the injections and treatment, then for a week later I was still in pain this had never happened before for the same treatment. Put me off of ever having my gums cleaned again.

In September 2020, I called this clinic to get an appointment for my daughter as she had cavity and it was painful. The first person I spoke to said "If your daughter has pain, call tomorrow morning to get an appointment". I called in the morning and they said her teeth needed be really painful for her to be seen and I said "She has cavity and it is painful for her". They still refused the appointment. I don't know what they expected, for me to cry or something? I then had to pay over 200 to get it sorted at a private clinic. I was told by someone afterwards, since covid the Nhs dental clinics still get paid even if they don't see the patients. To me, this is disgraceful. The private dentist who saw my daughter has a life too but she wouldn't have been paid if she hadn't seen my daughter and she could have chosen not to work but she did!! 060224 My children were supposed to have a check up appointment in November 23 and when we arrived for our appointment, we couldn't be seen because the computer system was down at the clinic. The staff wrote my children's name down and said they would be in touch to book another appointment and noone called in over 2 months. I popped into the clinic this morning to book the appointment. The receptionist tried to tell me my children had been to the November appointment and tried give me a July appointment calculating nearly 9 months from November and then she gave one in May 24. I said "These would be too long. My children haven't been to the November appointment and it wouldn't make sense for me to be here in Feb 24 if they were seen in November 23." She wasn't even listening and she was rude to me telling me they were busy. My son won't see a dentist for a year now because of Parkfield Clinic's incompetency and lack of reception staff training.

I will start off with the good - Julia is wonderful, she is the reason I stay. Now for the bad The receptionists here are the worst I have EVER encountered. Their telephone line is not fit for purpose for anyone with a full-time job as they only open at 830 and shut at 5 (with an hour lunch). You may ask, 'What is the catch?'. The catch is that there is no phone queue waiting time hold time. This means means every time someone is in front of you in the queue the line shuts dead. It is therefore near impossible to actually get through to someone and, heaven forbid, you try to email to a) discuss those concerns and b) book an appointment (or try to) - you will be shut down. A total lack of client understanding - some of us can't wait around all day repeatedly attempting to ring on the phone on a WORK DAY to book an appointment!!

Appalling service given by this surgery. Struck off the register without any notification through no fault of my own. As a family we had an appointment in the diary pre-covid that was cancelled by the surgery. Then post-covid trying to get an appointment was informed by the frankly rude receptionist that none of us are now registered. I appreciate the government are being total a-holes at the moment with policy, but it's completely unhelpful for a local dentist to strike us all off in these circumstances.

One of the people I spoke with last time on the phone was less than helpful. Her manner was controlling and patronising, she made me feel demeaned and I was hestitant to go into reception after my appointment. Once at reception however I spoke with a lovely lady called Amanda who was friendly and welcoming whilst another lady also behind the desk just sat and stared at me through the glass. I do not know who the other person was but if the same person, her manner needs attention.

Since May waiting for my son to be referred to the hospital I call the few months later they tell me to call me to give me an answer and I am still waiting. Amazing how ineffective and disinterested they are for their patients. Avoid this clinic seriously

Very disappointed at how unfairly I have been treated. Was taken off automatically as a patient after just 18 months there even though I contacted them in January with a new address (was not able to book because of lock down) and was told they do not inform you of this policy and neither do they let you know, contact or text you with a prompt. Have been told I cannot re-apply so will now be taking my family to another more helpful dentist.

Really appalling service. Just called to book an appointment to find out that I am no longer a patient because I have not attended the surgery for 2 years. Never being notified in writing by the way. The office manager said that it is too much work for them to notify patients, there is a sign in the surgery which informs patients who can't see it that they must attend the surgery regularly. That's the policy!!!

Honestly wonderful experience! I just moved to Parkfield due to problems with my old surgery. All the Parkfield staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The understanding, compassion and skill of the dentist was amazing. He talked me through what work needed doing and explained fully without being dismissive or patronising. Really, they highlighted for me how bad my previous surgery was.
