Penylan Dental Practice

I have been with this dental practice for about 30 years and I have always received excellent treatment. Steve and Laura run an excellent practice. Everyone is friendly as well as being professional. I have no wish to leave this practice (even with Steve's jokes!!) and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do.

I attended yesterday for my 6 monthly hygienist appointment. It went very well and I was most impressed with Amy the hygienist assistant in how she took great care with the suction device so it hardly touched my mouth at all. Thank you.

I have been going to Penylan Dental Practice for over 40 years and have seen many changes over that time but one thing that hasn't changed is the quality of treatment and the professionalism of each and every member of staff, from Receptionists, Hygienists, Dentists and their Dental Nurses. They truly know their stuff! Just this morning I saw Anwen James who fixed both my broken front teeth. I still don't know how she did that! They look better than ever! My wife and I have been with Penylan Dental Practice for many years, in fact right from the start. The treatment we have received there is extremely professional and efficient, with minimum pain. Steve is a true expert in his field and neither my wife or I have any qualms about taking his advice on treatment. Add to that a pleasant welcome in reception as soon as we arrive followed by interesting, sometimes humorous, conversation. Added to Steve's expertise is the fact that hygienists employed there have also been excellent. Laura the current hygienist is thorough but gentle. There is always a pleasant family atmosphere in the practice.

The best dentist I've ever had. Everyone here is very friendly and supportive. I always enjoy visiting them, and I've never had a bad experience.

I've never felt wholly confident with dentists. It's a big fear for a lot of people. Penylan has the kind of customer care and service that makes your worries disappear. Swift action on any issues you have means getting appointments or referrals promptly and giving you less reason to go back so often, which is kind of the point when you think about it!

I joined this practice after many years of worry and stress from my previous dentist. Unsure how healthy my mouth was and not happy with how my teeth were. Since seeing Sarah she has reassured me and put a plan together to get a healthy mouth again. Her and her team are so caring and professional, it really helped with my initial worries! I'm so happy I finally decided to join a new dentist and couldn't recommend Sarah and her team at Penylan Dental Practice enough! Thank you so much!

I had an appointment for the first time at Penylan Dental Practice in April with Sarah Down and had a very positive experience. The lady on reception was welcoming and then Sarah and the dental nurse were both very friendly and approachable. Appointment was thorough and I particularly liked that Sarah actually explained the various things they were checking to me - something I haven't previously experienced at other dental practices!

I can't recommend this dental practice enough. I've been going to the practice for 3 years and all the work I've needed which they have carried out has been of extremely high quality. I'm always happy with the result, and the dental team take their time to ensure they are happy with their work (something which other practices have not done and have always felt a bit rushed). On top of that, I cannot express how welcoming the dental team are, which I am so greatful for as I no longer dread going to the dentist, which I have done for many years due to negative past experiences in other dentists. In particular, Sarah has been a really wonderful dentist for myself - she is always so helpful and welcoming during my appointments. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

An excellent practice, the standard of treatment and care i have received from Sarah has been fantastic, appointments never feel rushed and like they are trying to force you out the door as fast as possible. The admin team have tried their hardest to find me appointments at very short notice and always check if i would like to take the place of any cancellations they've had. Overall the team are extremely friendly, effective and i cannot recommend them enough.

They are unprofessional we missed one appointment one day did not see my other child even the other child was on time very bad young recipients not happy with them .

As a fairly new patient to the practice I found it easy to register communication was clear and efficient and I was able to get an appointment reasonably quickly. I was even offered a cancellation with the hygienist at short notice when I explained I was going away on holiday soon. Steve was warm and personable, and the team are friendly and knowledgable. A very professional practice where everyone makes you feel welcome and at home. Excellent care and attention to detail and all with a smile in spite of any problems such as patients like me who want to cough at awkward moments! How often do you look forward to going to your dentist?

Been with the practice for many years and always had high quality treatment in a friendly, professional manner from all members of staff. Had a crown done today and it fitted perfectly first time with an exact colour match. Very pleased. No matter what I need done it is always thoroughly explained and never a drama )

This a great practice - they've looked after me and our family for many years and Mr Clark is ace . He's very kind and tries his very best to see you if you need him . He has saved my bacon so many times !!!! And I am pretty sure the practice was one of the first back up and running once Covid restrictions allowed . Both my girls were looked after by him as children and have terrific teeth - thank goodness .
