The Sandstone Dental Practice

I became a patient of Sandstone in about 2017. Up to that point I had had fairly frequent dental visits, many of which included significant amounts of ibuprofen and Paracetamol. Fadi quickly had a tooth removed and replaced it with an implant and a crown. All went well. I then had root canal treatment and a crown on another tooth, with a warning that it might be too far gone. That was almost five years ago with no problems to date. The combination of well executed structural care and a good hygiene program (I had never seen a "hygienist" before) has transformed my dental health. Highly recommended and very good value. Sales of ibuprofenParacetamol must have nosedived!

I have recently had 2 long appointments for root canal treatment with Kate Blundell. Kate and her team were professional, patient and caring throughout. I experienced no discomfort whatsoever during these appointments, and there was an excellent rapport between Kate and her staff.

I was referred to Sandstone Dental practice for specialist root canal treatment. Kate and her team completed the procedure over 3 visits and managed to save the infected tooth, which had been troublesome for over 18-months. It was essentially a 'painfree' procedure, which i would highly recommend, especially if you have any concerns undergoing root canal treatment. Thanks again Kate, Izzy and the Sandstone team.

How often can you say that you enjoy your dental appointment? Hygiene treatment by Emma was excellent as always. I was a bit taken a back to be asked to pay the full cost of the next hygiene appointment 6 months in advance. I understand your concern to avoid no shows. I would be ok to pay a month in advance or maybe 25 upfront. If the same system is still in place next time I have a regular appointment, I will not book 6 months ahead.

As a nervous patient Emma the hygienist is always mindful and reassuring during the entire process. All the staff at Sandstones are always welcoming and professional. I would not go anywhere else for my dental care.

I was referred to Sandstone for specialised treatment to save a tooth. I am an incredibly nervous patient with high anxiety and a longstanding fear of dentists. Kate and her team were amazing, they were kind, patient, understanding, helpful and I received the highest standard of care I could wish for, with thankfully a good outcome. I will be honest and say that this treatment cost me almost a months wages but given the speciality expertise, and the care and attempts to put me at ease to get me through, it was a price I was willing to pay. What a truly professional team! I attended Sandstone Dental Practice for advice and treatment of a chronic infection that had developed in one of my teeth that had received root canal treatment (by another practice) many years before. From the outset, the professionalism of Kate and the team was faultless. Following the initial assessment the treatment options and advice were clearly explained to me, this gave me the confidence to know that I was in good hands! From the moment you walk into the door the service is top class and you are made to feel welcome and comfortable by all of the staff. I was referred here for root canal and I was very nervous for the procedure. But Kate is an absolute miracle worker and such a lovely, warm and gentle dentist who explains everything in detail and you can tell that she genuinely cares about you. I would highly recommend.

Dr Blundell undertook a rigorous examination then outlined the options available, risks and costs. I cannot thank Fadi, Robbie and Emma enough for everything they have done for me. I was referred to Sandstone after my crown had failed leaving me with no front tooth alongside a veneer that had receded over the years. With a job that requires me to produce videos to train my colleagues, my confidence took a massive hit. Emma made sure my gums were in the best condition possible, Robbie was then able to complete my bone graft and implant before Fadi replaced my adjacent veneer and impressively highered my gumline to match where my implant would begin. Throughout the entire process it was clear they cared, spending time to talk me through the procedures and consulting with each other to ensure a smooth transition between their specialisms. I no longer have a smile that was mostly gums and my new front teeth look amazing and natural! I have my confidence back, no reservations producing my training videos anymore. My new teeth were also fitted in time for my graduation, meaning I smiled all day and took thousands of photos. Thank you so much Sandstone.

I have just finished my treatment at sandstone dental today, and I have now got the most fabulous teeth in the world created by Fadi and his amazingly capable and friendly team of assistants. I find I'm much happier , I smile more, and feel alot more confident. The final fitting of my new bridge today was the equivalent of Cinderella finding her perfect slipper that was made only for her. Was referred here from my NHS dentist for root canal treatment. Kate explained everything fully at my first appointment. My second appointment, the root canal treatment, was fully explained throughout the treatment, I was put at ease and made comfortable. Would highly recommend The Sandstone Dental Practice.
