Had a crown installed, the crown was not properly seated and fell off shortly after. Contacted the office to have it put back on. They did not annotate on the records that it had to be recemented. After going in a number of times for sensitivity to pain and numerous x-rays where the gap is evident from months ago. They agree to fix it for a 20 discount...how generous. Thus was completed less then a year ago. Would not recommend this dentist, unless you want to pay multiple times for shotty work. In addition the staff can be heard gossiping about coworkers and patients. Very unprofessional.

I typically refrain from writing reviews, but my experience at AV Dental has prompted me to share my thoughts. While my dental hygienist provided excellent care, I was disappointed and frustrated with the dentist's examination. Specifically, I was informed that I had four cavities, which contradicted my previous 6 month exam results from my hometown dentist. To verify this diagnosis, I scheduled an appointment with my hometown dentist and flew back home. Following a thorough examination and new X-rays, they confirmed my suspicions that I have no cavities. Based on this experience, I would recommend seeking alternative dental care to avoid unnecessary procedures. If possible, I would give a rating of 0.

I came in about a year ago concerned about a bad cavity. First I was scheduled for a cleaning and prescribed antibiotics. The cleaning was outstanding I had not had a cleaning in about 20 years and I was very satisfied with the work. I then started coming in to have cavities filled instead of repairing the large cavity I was concerned about they would fill in smaller cavities even though I kept requesting that the larger one be filled. On my first visit for fillings they used a laser ablation tool to excavate and filled with some sort of UV curable polymer blend. Two smaller cavities on the left side of my face were filled. They messed up the application of the polymer and a large bur was left on a tooth and I could no longer floss one side of that tooth. On my next visit they ground down the bur but did not fix the issue I was having with floss. On that visit they again Ignored my concerns with the large cavity I had and instead filled in a few smaller cavities on the right side of my face. After this visit I noticed that the pain was persisting in one of my newly filled teeth. I called in and was told that this was normal. The pain continued a week or two later I came in for a last time. I expressed my concerns to the dentist that the laser ablation tool may have caused thermal damage to my tooth he literally had nothing to say about that. I couldn't get him to say anything about the persistent tooth pain I was experiencing at all. I asked about the large cavity I was initially concerned about and was told, for the first time after multiple visits, that I would need a crown on that tooth. The dentist seemed like he was dis-interested and just trying to CYA the entire time I was talking to him. now, a year later, I haven't had the large cavity repaired yet and still have persistent pain in the last tooth they worked on. I am fearful of going to any dentist because of the bad work these guys did. The pain is slowly getting worse now so I guess I will need to get over my fear and find another dentist. Don't come here the dentist is a moron and doesn't care at all about his patients or the quality of his work. Writing this at 4am on a Sunday after being woken up with a tooth ache in the tooth they damaged.

Dr Tran is a scam artist. He tried to over sell me to install a crown and pushed to do so. After he removed my old crown and started with the injection, my gut feeling made me feel uncomfortable with this money making machine. When I confronted him, he become nervous and I left the clinic with my issue unresolved. Dr Tran wasnt my primary dentist. It was Dr Oei who I thought did a great job before but realized he also didnt treat me well after the incident. I will never again visit this clinic. They act like a saw blade eating on the way down and up and never enough. They kept harassing me by sending me reminders about my and my familys upcoming appointments. Ill be happy to share my story in details if anyone is interested. Shame on you.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I called for an emergency tooth extraction due to one of my molars causing severe pain. They told me it was 110 for the extraction and that they would remove it. I got one X-ray and sat in the chair for maybe 10 minutes while the dentist looked at my tooth. He stated the obvious, that it was a bad tooth. Proceeded to tell me he wanted a ct of the tooth now which was going to cost me 300 or more dollars out of pocket and that he wouldnt remove my tooth without it. When I told him I couldnt afford that he stormed out and I was given antibiotics and a referral to a different dentist. Then they made me pay 110 for the entire 15 minutes I was there. Dont waste your money on this business.

I waited a little under a year and a half for a cleaning. Finally saw the dental hygiantist and was scheduled for an appointment after paying in full. When I went in for my appointment they didn't have me scheduled for anything and told me they could see me next week. After such a long wait time and scheduling and paying, I expected more and was delivered nothing.

My experiences at AV Dental have always been great. Dr. Vasquez is so good and when saw that I was nervous he was joking around and laughing about the songs on the radio, he did his best to make me laugh and he was successful! He is a fantastic dentist, all of my procedures have been perfect from beginning to end. The staff is wonderful, Carlos is my hygienist and he does an amazing job! The rest of the office staff are always professional and always willingvto help explain things when asked. This is the only dentist in town I will see!

I went for a wisdom tooth extraction and, from the beginning, the communication between the office staff and the dentist was not good. My treatment plan had to be drafted three times before I had something somewhat accurate to sign. Then when I came for treatment, they said they didn't have my sedation medicine and that someone should have written me a prescription but no one communicated. The dentist sounded confused about having to perform my extraction and said that he didn't feel comfortable removing 2 of the 4 teeth that we planned to have removed. After he said that, he and the office manager began to argue in front of me and the dentist slammed his tools down and walked away. I already have dental anxiety and not having sedation plus having this occur was unsettling. Ultimately after signing yet another treatment plan, they found some sedation medicine for me to take and we agreed for him to only remove 2 teeth. As for the actual procedure, it was okay except the fact that the dentist refused to believe me when I was in pain and at some points didn't stop drilling when I signaled I was in pain and the hygienist had to tell him that I was in pain and to stop. After my procedure, it was suggested that I be unconscious for any other procedures to avoid pain, even though I have been successfully numbed by other dentists. There was also a mix up with my medication and I spent the whole first day of recovery in the worst pain of my life. Now that im 8 weeks out from the procedure, I'm beginning to have heat sensitivity (which is a sign of decay) in one of the teeth adjacent to one of my extraction sites that was perfectly healthy before. I wasn't going to write a review but I don't want other people to go through what I went through. This had to have been the worst dental experience of my life.

They don't work with the VA anymore, a town with tons of veterans. Regardless of "business" they don't care about the veteran. Do not use this facility.

This place will try to attract your business with their "affordable" yearly plan, however the problems they have caused me have been much less than affordable. I came in for a cleaning and after filling out pages of forms that were never read by the staff members and an hour and a half waiting, the hygienist did a terrible job and was extremely abrasive to my teeth. I started having terrible sensitivity right away and was told by the office to just use a special toothpaste for sensitivity. Their cleaning also caused some sealing resin on my teeth to lift, scratching my tongue constantly and causing even more sensitivity. The person at the office that spoke to me about this problem was very rude, refused to accept the office is to blame on this matter and accused me off lying for "free services" in her own words. She then proposed a "treatment plan" that costed more than what they charged me for their "affordable" yearly plan. Very convenient, causing their clients problems so they keep paying the office to fix it. If I can't trust a dentist office to do something as simple as a cleaning, I most certainly can't trust any of their services.

While the quality of the work is passable, their scheduling practices are completely unacceptable. They know that after I have a root canal, I'm going to need it crowned, they also know that they're fairly busy, but they wait until after the root canal before even scheduling the crowning, so I'm stuck with some temporary filling in my mouth for the 20 days. After I get my temporary crown done and the mold done, they need to get it back from the lab, which takes time, so I understand that they can't do it all in one sitting, it usually takes a week from what they said, but they're still busy, so it's gonna be another 20 days until that happens, because they didn't schedule any of this before hand. Except for one problem, something in my mouth has since broke and I'm not sure if I can eat right now. And that's not to mention the fact that I've had another tooth that needs to be crowned, that they've known needs to be crowned for two months, but haven't scheduled until I brought it up and reminded them that I would like all the work that needs to be done in my mouth completed If you have any work that's more complex than a simple cleaning, don't come here

First off, the cleaning technician is great! Amazing job every time and very friendly! The front desk staff are also great. One of the dentists is newer and can use some more hands on training. I refused to be serviced by the dentist after multiple issuesdropping the metal dividersramp into my throat, drilling before the shot kicked in and not stopping, and fillings not evened out or done right so they had to be redone. I anticipate she will be great once fully trained. The other dentist refused to give me the exam that they bill my insurance for...for a full year. The 2 cleaning and exam appointments were after 3 due to my job however, he threw a tantrum when told I was ready to be seen. He proceeded to yell at his desk staff that he won't take an appointment after 3 before storming out of the office. He was so loud I heard then entire exchange. When working he is brisk and can be rude depending on his mood. If there is one thing that's great, he can definitely give a shot and is very efficient. Finally, they charged me a 25 processing fee for x-rays so I can transfer to a different dentist. Perhaps I didn't specify what was needed exactly, but I do expect them to know what's needed when transferring to avoid taking new x-rays. The x-rays were useless and I had to have an entire set retaken by the new dentist. The fee is fine IF the files were actually usable. If you have great teeth and usually only need cleanings AV is fine because Carlos is great at his job. Otherwise, I do not recommend.

I have been a patient at AV Dental for 20 years and they are terrific! The staff is always welcoming and friendly and very professional. Carlos, the dental hygienist, is awesome. The same goes for Dr. Vasquez and his dental assistant Christy. I had a crown installed today and they made it look easy. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing dental care.

This was my first time at AV dental and I had an amazing teeth cleaning appointment with dental hygienist Carlos! Carlos made my visit very pleasant. He was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My teeth were grossly stained when I came in and Carlos cleaned them up with no pain! He was very enthusiastic and eager to answer all my questions or comments. Carlos possesses a pure talent in the dental hygiene field and all his patients are lucky to have him. The front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming to me. I highly recommend going to AV dental. The staff are incredible and I can't wait to come back!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They are taking the current times very seriously and cleaning often! The dental hygienist and the dentist were both very informative and considerate of how I was feeling. I would highly recommend AV Dental, you are in good hands.
