Burre Dental Center

So called "open door" dental clinic not taking new patients. I arrived in agony, tooth broken from a fall after 2 hour drive and was told I would have to sit in the waiting room most probably all day, at least, to be seen, at which time an examination would be conducted, after which I would then have to return, on a different day,and wait ,all day or even two they said, to be seen by the actual dentist. I'm a full time working student. Not possible. When I asked for advice, the receptionist just shrugged. Thanks for the empathy burre dental center.

Called in to make an emergency appointment since I was not a patient, they gave me an appointment, and never told me how long I was gonna have to wait until I went up and asked for the 2nd time. I waited 4 hours. Never was informed that there was a chance I couldn't get in, and they said I couldn't get in and would have to do this all over again a different day. I made an appointment at a different office and got in with no wait. I would not recommend going here for emergency appointments at all, go somewhere else.

Dr. Stone and Cori we gentle and patient I can be a nervous Nelly and I'm 100 satisfied with today's dental filling. I can't wait for dinner, I won't need my toothpicks!

All three of my children have been seen at this dental office. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Theyre great with kids and offer prizes to make the experience better for the little ones. Ive called and have been able to get appointments for our check ups within a few weeks which is great. We also had an experience with the dental van at their elementary school. It was great! The kids were excited to receive their no cavities certificate. We received a referral for an xray due to concerns of missing teeth and I was able to make appointment and be seen within a few weeks. The entire process was seamless. The front desk staff are very helpful and kind. I have 3 children and have had 4-5 appointments and havent had a complaint about any of our visits.

Well, to start off, I want to CLARIFY that I am not a fan of the Burre Dental Office, however. The Dental Van with Dr. Stone and her two RDAs are very amazing!!! I have 5 kids and moved to Humboldt county at the end of 2021. My daughter, 4 at the time, needed work on her teeth. We seen 3 different dentists at the Burre office and none of them would even attempt to try to do work on her. They would just give a referral for PDI. Unfortunately, requirements for PDI means kids cannot be sick at all nor be sick 3 weeks prior to their appt, it never worked for us. My daughter would always be sick by the time her appt would come. Two years it took, and by then she had 2 broken teeth and bad cavities. Yes, I was having her brush regularly, but we just could not win. The Dental Van came to her school at Arcata Elementary, and informed me that she would need 3 fillings, 3 teeth pulled, and one crown. I told Dr. Stone about the history of trying to get her seen and her teeth taken care of to no prevail. Dr. Stone HEARD my cry for help. And let me tell you how grateful I am that her and her RDAs actually took their time and put in effort to get my childrens teeth done. They were wonderful with my kids, and trust me, I went in with no hopes and ready to be let down. But they completed my childs needs (both my son and daughter) and did it in a way to where my kids (my son is diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder) both felt comfortable and safe. I literally CRIED while they worked on my kids because i was so stressed and frustrated on how no one ever tried to actually help, until I got to meet the ladies on the Dental. An. They truly are a blessing and I usually do not do reviews, but I really believe they need so much more recognition then they get for the work that they do and the true effort they put in to making sure these kids teeth are taken care of. I cannot express how much I appreciate them and the patience and yearning to help with childrens teeth. I am hoping many people read this review and maybe it will reach the right one to give them additional funding because at this point, I see NONODY else better or ANYBODY else that I would choose to have work on my kids and their teeth. Highly disappointed, doesn't allow siblings in back with parent. If your kids has even the slightest cough that's residual they will reschedule you.

Honestly surprised by all the one star reviews. I called as soon as they opened and was told to go in the afternoon to wait for an opening. The receptionist told me what to expect in terms of waiting for a cancellation or no show. I spent maybe 20 minutes in the waiting room before I was seen. The dental assistant was so kind and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Wright saw me and I got a referral to Redwood Rural. I was in and out of here within an hour and a half! I'm very pleased with my visit at Burre Dental Center and would definitely recommend to a friend if they ever needed an emergency dental visit!

Super grateful for all the staff here. They were able to remove a broken tooth that was agonizing. Thanks so much I appreciate you all.

This hygienist was really thorough, gentle, and efficient. He did not waste time talking to other workers while I was waiting or worked in slow motion like others in my previous experiences. Very informed and caring.

They do malpractice specially Jennifer Stone. I got put with a different dentist and got asked If smoked weed or Crack even tho they know I don't and I got medical conditions when they are like that please don't go here and please don't make your kids go here

Doctor lacks compassion and was indifferent and dismissive toward my pain.

Waited for 3 hours in the waiting room, maybe dont make appt for people and waiste there time if there not gonna get seen for hours

I had a great experience with all the staff. Doctor Carter was super thorough with my filling and made my experience very fun and easy. He even made a few jokes. Natasha was the assistant and she was super helpful and sweet. Overall a pleasant experience!

Didn't or wouldn't help me at all, ALL he did was gave me a lecture and other dentists that MIGHT be able to help

Have to wait for like hours to be seen for a emergency appointment was there first thing in the morning for my appointment. I was waiting for a long time to be seen and they had other people going ahead of me when I had a emergency appointment I highly don't recommend this dental center it's so disorganized.

I'm giving 5 stars for today's emergency visit. This was the best care given and the 2 young lady's that worked with me was professional and also Dr. Carter. I wish I could get established there as a new patient thou that's hard to do. First time really that my experience there fantastic. Thank you Dr. Carter for cementing my bridge back on.
