I never thought I would enjoy going to a dentist. Now, I am thankful to have such a wonderful provider who is always seeking new information, techniques, and equipment to stay at the top of her profession. I highly recommend North Coast Family Dentistry.

Let's be real, does anyone really like going to the dentist? I mean, really? Well, my 4 year old says she LIKES the dentist! gasps So, it was my daughters first dental visit with Dr. Sergie and we went in for a typical dental exam which by the way was done thoroughly. Ended up finding 1 small cavity on a back tooth. With the treatment options provided to me, I chose what I thought was necessary. We opted for the Silver Diamine Fluoride which was painted on like she was Picasso or something. (Didn't take long either) My child had a positive, pain free dental experience. We will definitely be returning for recall visits. Did I mention... my child likes the dentist!?

Super easy to make an appointment and we were seen with in a week. We did not wait long for the appointment, we were in and out with in less then an hour for both my kids. Cleanings on the same appointment, laser technology for fillings so my child did not need to get numb. Love, love, love Dr. Sergie!

(112524 update well, I did get a reply from Dr. Sergie as you all can see below. She denied this claim about the 5-star review vs. just a review in general which really made me second guess myself, so I chose to just drop it. I actually felt quite bad about the review after her response. However, I was cleaning out my camera role today and noticed a screenshot I took previously of the office sending me a message after my visit, offering.as you may have guessed, a free tooth whitening kit for a 5 star review! I went back to texts from their office and saw this multiple times. I added the photos. Bribery, lying, and gaslighting is not a good business tactic, Dr. Sergie). Original review 111824 I debated for a long time to write this review, but now after many different experiences at this office and seeing all these questionable five star reviews, I figured I would put in my two cents. I want to preface this by saying, if there is only one thing you take from this review, just know that clients are offered a free teeth whitening kit to anyone that leaves a five-star review on Google I have been going to this physical location since I was 10 years old (so, 17 years now) and I want to say this is maybe the third or fourth new owner after Dr. Bishop left the practice. Under the current ownership (Dr. Sergie), I have had multiple visits over the last year or two. All of the visits have involved significant issues around staffing, scheduling, or quality of care. At one visit, I was called and asked to come in a hour before my scheduled appt due to staffing issues, I obliged and showed up early. I then sat in the waiting room for 30 to 40 minutes before I got called back. I got my cleaning done no issue, but then I was notified that the Dr. Sergie was not even in and that I can either wait for her or leave because the dental hygienist thought my teeth looked good enough. (Why was I called in early then if Dr. Sergie was out??) At my most recent appointment and the one prior, Dr. Sergie was literally the only person in the office. No office manager (as she complained to me about), no front desk staff, no dental hygienists, and no other clients. The phones were ringing and left to go to voicemail while Dr. Sergie was preparing to do my dental cleaning herself, but then a hygienist showed up. It was clear that she was very new at this, but was left to do my cleaning unsupervised. I had water sprayed into my eyes, down my neck, and soaking the upper part of my shirt just from the water pick floss thing that she used. She was also having me hold and position various tools that I have never in my life had to do - that usually the hygienists does. The whole thing was very uncomfortable (and I normally dont mind going to the dentist). I also had questions about insurance and other billing issues that could not be answered due to no staff being in office. Dr. Sergie took my questions down and said someone will call me. Nobody did. All of my visits, I think four or five maybe, have had some sort of issues similar to the issues described above. Another, admittedly much smaller thing, was Dr. Sergie taking my photo with a sign next to fancy new machine she had. She asked if she could post it (after she took the photo) and I said no (that I prefer to stay off social media). I recently got a screenshot from a friend who saw it was posted on Facebook. Again, I had said no and never signed any photo release consent or anything. I would not have agreed to take the photo if I knew she was going to post it. My twin sister, who has also been going to this location for the last 17 years, has had very similar experiences at each of her visits over the last year or two. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt as new ownership and staffing gets established, but its clear nothing is changing for the better. Sorry, Dr. Sergie.

I wouldn't normally review a dentist, but Dr.Sergie and the whole team are exceptional. They are efficient, caring, and provide the best quality of care I have experienced of any dentist I've had in multiple states. Dr.Sergie also usea new tech like laser cavity treatment!

Lovely dentistry experience. The Dentist and Hygienist work well together and explain everything very plain and simple. I knew what the cost was after insurance before they did any work. Seriously friendly people.

This practice was bought in 2023 by Dr Susan Sergie - so if you havent been in a couples years, things are a little different! Dr Sergie and her team truly care about their patients and take the extra time to explain everything well and ensure patients are comfortable and informed.
