Pedodontic Associates - Maui

Im shocked they have such a good rating but Im assuming theyve asked people recently to give them a rating they do not deserve since most of the reviews are from less than 10 months time. The entire facility is outdated, it looks exactly how it did when I was a patient there 20 years ago. Their customer service over the phone and in person is poor, the staff seems to operate on secrecy and lack transparency unless asked very clearly and directly for an answer. I think its weird that they take your kids in the back without you being present and will even refuse your presence when you ask, and if they dont refuse your presence, they make you sign a form that states you cant talk at all during procedures. Hygienists will make you feel like you are lying when you are explaining your struggles with brushing your childs teeth, instead of offer suggestions or solutions. Dental assistant is very loud, pushy, and forceful with procedures. I think too many staff members have worked at this office too long and are too comfortable putting their hands on children and forcing them to do things when they dont want to or just need a minute. As a parent its our job to communicate and advocate for our children but this office makes you feel like an idiot for doing so. Overall, it seems like everyone there hates their job, hates children, and this place needs a solid refresh, from office staff to hygiene to dental.

I wasnt sure what to expect with this office. I have passed by it a million times and thought it looked kind of shabby, but this was the perfect example of never judge a book by its cover. The staff was amazing, and so sweet to my kids. The Dr gave me great advice for both my kiddos. It was an overall wonderful visit and Im so happy I decided to choose this office for my kids.

My daughter has been going here since age one. Very sanitary, staff is always friendly, dental hygienist and dentist are good with children. The dentist is honest with assessment and gives good guidance on best practices for brushing and what are focus areas. As a first time parent I am very thankful for the little techniques I have learned from the dentist to get to the hard to reach places. It has helped prevent my daughter from getting cavities and gum disease. I highly recommend this dental office.

Pedodontics has cared for three of my daughters. The front desk staff is kind and courteous. The office is immaculate and comfortable for adults and the kids. The dentists are knowledgeable and care about their work and the service they provide. I recommend this dentist to anyone looking for dentists that specializes in working with children.
