Redwoods Rural Dental Clinic

I had a tooth pulled. Dr. Berman did an excellent job. Quick and painless. No fragments or nerve damage like I've read could happen. I was surprised when he said he was done. Then I threw up and passed out, on account of myself in my head. His assistant took such great care of me, they made sure I was OK before I left.

Dr Cook didnt like me. He decided, thinking I was numb, to tap the drill against a normal tooth that wasnt in need of work. I went to get a filling done on one of my front teeth. After the appointment I had the tooth piece on my tongue, that came from the healthy tooth he decided to tap out of spite. To be honest, I was very kind and polite. I am from Petaluma and went to Cal Poly Humboldt to study forestry. I really dont understand your deal Dr Cook. I do hope you read this. Yes, it does upset me. You did an excellent job on my filling, but then decide to drill my other tooth? It seems like the only way to deal with people these days is not to. Appreciate it.

My tooth wasn't fixed properly two years ago and my doctors allegedly keep leaving the clinic. 2 years trying to get my partial and cavity filled. At one point I had absolutely no doctor assigned to me. Talk about neglect. 2 years I was able to get Xrays and not cavity filled. Why? Then the receptionist was trying to gas light me because I need a dentist. 14 years I have been a patient. I am a disabled senior citizen.

Been trying to get anyone at this location to call me back for a month now. It's frustrating when an entire building and staff doesn't return phone calls. If you guys see this can someone please call me so that I can schedule. You're advertising for new patients, I'm an old one who JUST wants a call back. Smdh. Shame.

I am honestly shocked by some of these reviews. I've been to Redwood Rural a handful of times now and each time I have been met with professional, prompt, and compassionate care. I've had a lot of work done on my teeth and this is the first office that has made me feel welcome and comfortable. I've been seen by Kelly Ward and Dr. Olah so far and will continue coming back. Highly recommend this office! P.S. - the view from the dental chair is absolutely lovely and puts you at such ease!

Receptionist is very nice and so are the people working there. Also I got in right away for my dental appointment! I'm glad I found a dental clinic that has nice people.

Useless Dental clinic unless you are penniless only have Partnership Denta-Cal insurance . Sad but true for all rural dental clinics. DDS internship ends ,...then excellent intern splits for a greener job.

I brought my daughters and I into the satellite clinic. Very friendly staff for the most part. I am leaving this review because the refused to see me for an exam with both my girls in the room. They wanted me to leave them in the waiting room by themselves. I have a 4year old and a 6month old. There was no way I would leave them alone. Is it just me or is this very inappropriate? If your a mother, would you leave you babies unattended in a public waiting room while you get your teeth done?

I went in for an emergency dental appointment today, for an extremely painful infected tooth. Everything was fine until my dentist, Rona Bodman came in. Right off the bat, she scolds me like a child for being 5 minutes late, saying they probably wont see me again if Im late at all in the future. I apologized and explained I had to drive an hour and a half with a toddler to get there and had even called to let the office know. I told her I was using Oragel and was taking Advil for the pain. She said I shouldnt use Oragel, and that she would prescribe an antibiotic and something for the pain. She says to come back in a week for the extraction. I go to schedule the future appointment at the front desk and they dont have any availability until the middle of January! I simply cannot live like this until then, especially through Christmas. The absolute best part if my visit to Redwoods Rurals dental center however, was when I went to pick up my prescriptions and there was nothing for the pain whatsoever! Why tell me to stop using Oragel if you wont give me any ibuprofen? So I just have to tough out a month with no pain medicine whatsoever? Folks, I know in Humboldt County we dont have many options but we cannot accept this level of care. Choose any other dentist, they will treat you with more compassion.

They canceled my appointment multiple times then said I was a no call no show after they were the ones that canceled on me multiple times!!!! The people are really nice but they cut me off for them canceling in me the day of

I recently had an dental emergency, my upper-right cuspid was kind of sore next morning the whole side of my face was swollen. After calling all the usual suspects (some of whom were quite rude), the best I could get was a "730am the next morning, wait see if there's a no-show" appointment, RRDC gave me an emergency visit at noon that day. First impressions small, clean, light open feeling, polite helpful reception staff. Second brief wait, lovely dentists chair, beautiful view, unobtrusive music in the background. As the nurse (I forgot her name... sorry, you're awesome) explained that the x-ray sends the images to the doctor's computer, I thought "Oh great, one of those doctors" but as soon as Dr. Bodman entered all concerns vanished like mist in the morning sun. In my 30 years in the service industry, from dishwasher to executive chef, I have learned to recognize competence confidence in a person Dr. Bodman appears to have both. After some dialog -not dumbed down for me, 2 Amoxicillin, a prescription and some clear, concise, post-visit instructions I was on my way. I also received a follow-up appointment for the extraction of said tooth, and will try my best to assign them as my primary dental provider To all the folks at RRDC - Thank You

Most friendly, professional and awesome-est dental clinic ever! They totally took the time to explain everything were friendly and upbeat, professional and knowledgeable. The receptionists are great, the dental assistant was awesome and the dentist was skillful and relatable, on par with any big city or hospital clinic.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out in a different office in which resulted me a lot of trauma and pain, since then i've had extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. All of that anxiety perished when I met Dr. Boddman! She is so amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her to each and everyone ! I've had many cavities that needed to be filled and have felt no pain during any of the procedures whatsoever. If you're looking for a clean, quick, professional place to get your dental work done I highly recommend this place! It's HARD to find a dentist that is AMAZING like Dr. Boddman!

They have had multiple dentists mess up my dental care and have caused me to feel the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. Do not go here. Avoid at all costs.

They took very good care of me I had a real bad tooth and they extracted it they were gentle,kind courteous all the way from the receptionist to the dentist thank you very much
