Im so happy that I saidyes to Salt Lake Dental. It is absolutely, hands down, the best place to go for Dental Implants!! They use the most up to date, cutting edge technology making the procedures fast and virtually painless!! Dr. Carter and his staff have a positive can do attitude and approach to my dental needs. When others said no, Salt Lake Dental said yes!

I'm really happy with the quality of care that is offered at Salt Lake Dental. Firstly they take photos of your teeth so that you can see what the dentist is describing which is very helpful. Secondly the pricing seems competitive, that is to say their prices are very reasonable for the quality of care that is provided.

I came in here for a checkup a few months ago, and then I recently came in for extraction of my upper wisdom teeth and a supernumerary tooth. The entire process has been very smooth, from getting an appointment to the end of it. The people at Salt Lake Dental have been very nice and professional, and the visits I've had there have been very good. My dental extractions were painless, and the process was very quick. I was well informed regarding continued care, and I feel in good hands with them. Definitely recommend.

Below is a post I made a couple years back. I became insured by Medicare at which they told me they dont take Medicare or Medicaid and i was dropped as a patient then and there after being a great paying patient for a couple of years. I find not accepting Medicare or Medicaid disgusting as its the insurance most of us use as we age. Hope they enjoy all there money! I do not recommend them to anyone. I just received a 200 bill instead of 40! Ive been coming here for years, and I always double-check before my appointment to ensure they accept my insurance. Back in March, they stopped taking my insurance, but when I asked if I was still in-network, they confirmed I was. They never notified me that my dentist no longer accepts my insurance!!!! THEY WILL CHANGE COVERAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR!! BE CAREFUL!!! UPDATE They called me about this review and apologized for my experience. They offered to waive the remaining charges if I paid 40. However, I had already asked for a resolution before posting the review, and they refused, only suggesting a payment plan. They also claimed my insurance policy had changed, which was untrue. Despite this, they wouldnt take my full responsibility. I wont be returning.

Dentist great, not great at follow through from front desk staff. Took care of my concerns and followed up promptly.

On 121124 I went to Salt Lake Dental to have severe tooth pain diagnosed. I was told the tooth had died and would need a root canal. I was extremely clear with Daniella in billing, that this was a new insurance and I wasnt sure if I was out of the waiting period for treatments such as root canals. After waiting for about 20 minutes for Daniella to reach out to my insurance, she showed me that my portion would amount to 1040 and my insurance would be covering roughly 1566. I asked Daniella a very simple question and made it clear that her answer would determine if I had the procedure done that night or if I would wait. I asked, Can this number change? I received a very confident and simple No. Not maybe or that could happen. I received a call from their head of billing, Tiffany, the following day. She told me that Daniella had missed a note when reaching out to my insurance and they would actually be covering 0 of my bill. I waited over 2 weeks to hear back from Dr. Carter and discuss what could be done. Ultimately, as a first time client of their practice, I paid monetarily for the blatant lie I was told by Daniella. I blame myself for signing something without reviewing it fully, and taking the word of an employee. I learned my lesson. TO ANY PROSPECTIVE PATIENTS - Firstly, look elsewhere. If you do work with Salt Lake Dental, do not allow Daniella to reach out to your insurance. Instead request that Tiffany, their head of billing be your contact point. Shes been nothing but professional during this entire process. Dr. Nate is incredible and provided me with excellent treatment (he is contracted, not an employee). The fact it took over 2 weeks for the owner of the practice, Dr. Carter, to reach out and attempt to remedy the mistake of his employee speaks volumes. Buyer beware! Ive experienced more ethical sales practices at used car lots. My rating is intended reflect how I feel about Dr. Carter and how he chooses to run his practice. Not Dr. Nate or the help Tiffany has provided.

I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and the procedure went smoothly. My only qualms were that I was not given much of anything after my procedure. No gauze, a squeeze ice pack, 4-6 over the counter pain medications, and then paper instructionsRx for a prescription if I needed a strong pain medication. It felt as if they finished my procedure and then handed me over to my post-op caretaker without much in the way of recovery items.
