The staff are very friendly. The women who clean your teeth are gentle. I will keep going there because I have so much confidence in the dentist's. If you are cold they give you a blanket. They do everything to make sure you are comfortable. I saw Dr. Thomas today. He was so kind and helpful and honest. I appreciate him for telling me the truth and not trying to just make money for something that wouldn't work. Thank you Dr. Thomas for being so special.

The owner, Dominic Marketto, has so many 1-star reviews (including mine) that he edited all his responses to We are sorry you felt the need to leave a 1-star review He changed his website to discourage people from leaving reviews He deleted his original responses trying to appear less obnoxious Hundreds of reviews have been altered to hide his own unprofessional actions Think twice before trusting this dental office, then go somewhere else!

011525 I rated one star about 2 days ago based on my experience last November and got this as a response from the owner "Hi "Heather," We have seen no one by the name of "Heather" in the past month or as far back as I can find in the recent past. I am sorry you felt the need to leave a 1-star review, but without any details, I cannot adequately respond to any legitimate problems you may have had with us or legitimate problems we may have had with you. Edit for context I had positive experiences with this dentistry in the beggining but I realize that they're only accommodating if you have absolutely no disagreements with them ever. Their attitude changes very quickly. I had two no shows in the past, so the last time before going in, they had me pay 50 security deposit to ensure I would show up. I went in, I did show up for that appointment, and I never received my deposit back. I guess they just hang onto your money until they have a reason to keep it. Recently, I was receiving calls and texts to confirm my upcoming appointment. I confirmed, and then about two hours before my appointment, I received a call in which I was informed my insurance wasn't going through. I let them know it had changed, and they let me know they don't take my insurance and asked if I still wanted to go in. I said I couldn't pay out of pocket. So she asked if I wanted to cancel and I asked that if I did, would I be charged the 50 cancellation fee. I was told most likely I would be charged, but there was the 50 "credit" from my last deposit that they could use to cover it, although she would leave a note for the situation, noting that it was due to the insurance. I decided to call again because I feel they should have refunded my deposit a long time ago, and I wanted to know if I would be getting it back, as she had said she would write a note in. When I called again, I was told that they did end up taking those 50 to use to cover "my cancellation" for today. I feel that if anything, they cancelled on me. I was told that I should have called in advance to let them know my insurance changed so they could have let me know that they don't take it. The only reason this falls flat for me is because with the amount of times I was called and texted, I would have thought that someone would have ran my insurance at some point prior instead of waiting two hours before on the day of the appointment, already within the 48hr cancellation period. I asked if there was anyone I could speak to further and was denied, because the "office heads and the doctors are ultimately the ones who make the decision". The whole situation doesn't sit right with me but from the looks of the other reviews on here I'm sure I'll get a response from Dominic telling me why I'm wrong. It's disappointing because I have an extreme reluctance and fear of dentistry because of bad experiences as a child, and I did greatly enjoy their services and I used to actively recommend them. Regardless, I suppose if they need the 50 more than I do then that's just the way it is. (Note I had written this review the day of the occurrence and didn't think it was worth it to post. But since rating a 1 star without details gets me a passive aggressive response anyways, I'll go ahead and leave this here. Also, my name is, in fact, Heather, so there's no need for quotation marks around it.) 11625 Since you've come back and added details of my records (that you supposedly couldn't initially find at all), the only thing I wanted to add is that I don't think it's ethical to add personal details that I myself did not disclose on this public forum. You added my last initial, which I did not disclose here, and you publicly disclosed that I have Medicaid, which is unnecessary and a violation of my HIPAA control rights. I'm sorry that this took two days worth of your time to be online replying to my review. Good luck with your business.

I'm always so happy with Gentle Care Dentistry. Great customer service, great dentists and staff! I was very bummed to leave my dentist in California, but this office surpassed my expectations of finding another office. I recommend them to everyone and I hope they never change their dedication to their clientele!

My experience has always been excellent. The front desk folks are warm and welcoming. They are efficient and yet caring. The cookies that serve is a touch of class. Any hygienist is an excellent hygienist. I like the way the doctors engage with me and the professionalism they show at every stage of the appointment. The icing on the cake is the hot towel with lavender (my choice) to comfort you on the way out. Overall, I would recommend Gentle Care to anyone. Cheers guys. Keep doing what you do.

Dr Dominic Marketto and his staff at Gentle Care Dental are a fantastic group. The ambience and friendliness is so calming. Up to the visit on 121124 all was well. This visit was below par from the rest as the appt for 10 did not happen til past 1030. I understand that delays happen but keep the client up to date as to the delay, that did not happen as I had to inquire as to the delay. Second my appt. for cleaning was made with another Hygenist whom I liked very much but they had to give me another one for whatever reason. That person I found to be very condescending in how she addressed me, she treated me like I was a feeble old person in her statements she made. Do not get me wrong this Office is very well run and besides these two factors I would recommend them to all my friends.

Very pleasant and efficient from the first phone call to make appointment to checking out with receptionist. The assistant very gracious, the dentist so helpful and really seemed to want to meet my needs. Excellent explanation of my situation. And the gift bag with a pillow that is wonderful to keep. Wow! Also the fee was beyond reasonable. Glad to know we will have relaxed, skillful dental care as we are new to the area.

Dr. Marketto's willingness to accommodate my dental emergency despite his packed schedule speaks volumes about his dedication to patient care. He patiently took the time to explain every detail of my treatment, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable throughout the process. Its evident that they genuinely care about their patients' well-being. In my opinion, this practice is the best choice in Las Cruces for anyone seeking quality dental care. My family and myself have been with this practice for a number of years and every dentist provider here is highly trained, compassionate and specialized. I wholeheartedly recommend this office for their exceptional service and compassionate approach.
