This place has saved me twice on an emergency basis. Highly recommend both times I was going through issues with teeth they fit me into a tight schedule and I was comfortably the entire time. Great spirit in the staff. Thank you AAD

I love this practice. My hygienist is amazing and pays attention to details on my teeth. She is also friendly and welcoming. Both dentists I have seen here have been very friendly and thorough as well not just with my teeth but my entire mouth.

Dr Malcolm and his staff are very professional and kind. They all are excellent at making you feel comfortable and cared for. Every staff person is completely competent and considerate. The waiting room is never full of impatient patients, because the office is so well run and efficient.

Best dentist experience I have ever had! I struggle with bad dental anxiety since I was small. Past dentists have treated my fear with annoyance. The people in this office are so compassionate, caring, and take my fear seriously. From office staff, to the dental assistants, and the dentists themselves, they are all so kind. Hope to continue to make this my forever dentist. Their work is incredible, quick, and they dont do unnecessary work. Thank you!

Ive been going to Alaska advanced dentistry for a while now And have always been impressed with the quality of care I have received. Hygienist are always so thorough and Dr. Malcom is just so amazing and knowledgeable. Everything always goes so smooth from check-in to check out. Highly recommend this office!

Dr Malcom and staff do a great job. Always very kind and attentive to my needs. He explains the treatment needed very well. Both hygienist are amazing and do everything they can to make you comfortable.

Had a wonderful cleaning with Cindy today. Both of the hygienists are wonderful! Dr. Malcom and his assistants are friendly and explain everything. Getting my teeth Bleached here next week by Jacob. They were very transparent with the billing.

Typically I would be one to only leave a review if its high praise, unfortunately not here. The dentist we saw was good, the assistants were good, and Monica is amazing. However, we will be choosing to no longer be patients after a phone call with the finance department aka one single individual so no higher oversight. When making an appointment I asked multiple times if they took the insurance one of us would be using. I was given confirmation but guess what, after receiving a treatment plan (quote) and receiving the work we get a pretty large bill. When asked about the difference multiple reasons were given and each one is turned back on it being our fault with the top reason being I asked if the insurance was taken not if it was in network. An unexpected bill is obviously a hard pill to swallow but fine. However, a call that started with wanting to seek clarity turned into being told to calm down (after apologizing and indicating I understood I was being assertive but I that I was matching her energy). On top of this, the statement is dated 1118 with a due date of 1128 yet even living close to the office the statement was not received until 1125 (three days prior to the due date). Bottom line decent dentist horrible demeanor from the finance department.

I am a new patient of Dr. Rex. Recently I was scheduled to leave on an international trip on a Saturday. On Friday morning I developed a very painful toothache and thought there was no way I would be able to get in to see the doctor. I explained that I was scheduled to leave early the next morning. I was told that they might be able to see me later in the afternoon if I didnt mind coming in and waiting. Of course I agreed. After a few minutes they called me back and said considering my situation the doctor didnt want me to have to wait and to come right in. He saw me immediately and was able to fix the problem and I was able to go on my trip. If you are interested in receiving quality dental care and or looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Rex at Advanced Alaska Dentistry.

I decided to give Alaska Advanced Dentistry a try to get some issues with my oral health squared away as I hadn't been to a dentist in quite some time. Another reason is they're in-network with my insurance. Cara and Dr. Malcolm are warm and welcoming, provide sound dental hygiene advice without coming off as condescending, and Dr. Malcolm seems to really care about his patients well being and is very thorough in his examination. There's work to be done on my teeth and I am definitely looking forward to having Alaska Advanced Dentistry get me fixed up! An update to this review. I had to go in again to begin the restoration process on my teeth and was greeted and treated by Dr. Sessom I think his name is. It took about an hour and the entire thing was painless. The anesthetic used wore off after a couple hours and I still felt no pain! I've had other dentists do fillings on my teeth in the past and they either didn't put enough anesthetic andor it took all day to wear off and my repaired teeth were quite sore for a few days. Needless to say I don't mind going to the dentist as much as I used to so as long as I go to AAD!

A hygiene clean up with my hygienist, Cara. Not only is she quick and thorough, but is concerned about other issues about educating me in good, personal dental care. Truly appreciate her work! Crown repair coming up.
