Chugach Dental

Had a very good experience here. I'm a studentRA and my insurance doesn't cover dental currently. I can get cleanings at the dental school but when a restoration failed and I needed a higher level of care, I came here. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, they were very courteous, and I thought the care was excellent. They seemed to have top notch equipment, including a screen to assist the doctor in communicating with you, as well as to provide a relaxing video while you were having work done. They seemed very experienced in handling dental anxiety and pain management, as well as understanding financial needs. I would return and recommend Chugach Dental Dr. Jensen.

I love that Chugach dental puts a TV on while I get my teeth cleaned and they finish everything off with a warm towel! Truly the best dental experience I have ever had.

What can I say but wow! Dr. Jensen and his staff are some of the most kind and patient people I have ever met. My dental anxiety is through the roof. Dr. Jensen is so gentle and efficient. I had three fillings done with zero pain (even the injections!) and was out of there before I knew it. I cannot say how thankful I am to have found this practice!

After about a decade of not going to the dentist, they were very helpful, understanding and informative. As long as I live here this will be my dentistry of choice.

Everyone is very friendly and kind, and Chugach Dental has a welcoming environment where you can tell that the people who work there love their jobs and enjoy interacting with patients. People are genuine and good at communicating, and I appreciate that they give a clear estimate of any future work that can be done. They are great at explaining and using easy-to-understand examples and taking the time to make sure everything makes sense. My grandpa was a dentist who taught me that humor and kindness can create a connection that makes a dentist office feel like a safe place, so I appreciate finding a place like this. I highly recommend!

Went here after visiting 2 other dentist offices in Anchorage, and so glad I found the place. They fixed a temporary crown I had an issue with and ended up making them my primary dentist! The staff is always friendly and they are attentive to detail but not always trying to sell you on dental work. I appreciate their honest, laid back approach.

Chugach Dental is a wonderful practice. Dr. Jensen is friendly and didnt act like he was in a rush to move on to another patient. The office staff are friendly as well. A coworker recommended this dentist and Im grateful that she did.

Really nice experience at the dentist. He seemed to really take care to think about a treatment plan and explain it, and what really stood out was that he pulled up the out of pocket cost of various options in real time while I was still sitting in the chair. Really rare in the medical field! Also they are all really nice.

No pressure, no judgement. It's the first time I've dealt with a dentist that listens to my concerns and input. I feel like I'm an active participant in my dental care decisions.

Dr. Jensen is the best dentist in Anchorage. His chair-side manner reveals his high EQ and technical proficiency. He and his staff genuinely care about their patients. Hell tell you what needs to be done on your teeth, what can wait, and hell take the time to explain why.

Dr. Jensen and his team are caring and professional. Ive dealt with a lot of dental trauma and I no longer experience anxiety for appointments because of how great this team is!
