DTLA Smile

The doctor I saw working there isn't even listed on the website and I just felt something was off. The equipment is old, facilities looked run down. They were planning on using this handheld x-ray gun thing to use in my mouth and i never seen that before and refused. The room I was in, was narrow, cramped, and looked like something that should be in a museum for how dentists offices used to be back in the day. It looks like a dentist from the 1950s and I decided to get up and leave. I apologized for wasting their time and left. I don't know what their deal is, but this is unacceptable for what we have now in the field of dentistry.

Been going to the same dentist for a very long time but decided to come here after moving recently. Had my initial appointment about 6 months ago where I got x-rays and a regular cleaning and was told I needed a deep cleaning on one side. I came back in today for my deep cleaning. My appointment was at 1145. I arrived at 1146, checked in, and went to the back with hygienist where I was told to wait for doctor. I ask hygienist how long the deep cleaning would take and she says 45min. Waited for about 25min for dentist to come in. He comes in around 1215. He was going to use anesthesia which I ask him not to use. He tells me to let him know if discomfort was too much. Starts the deep cleaning on my left side. About 10 minutes later he leaves saying he will be right back. Comes back in a few minutes later to tell me I need a light deep cleaning on the right side as well and if I would like to come back another day or just get it done now. I said I would prefer to get it done now. He spends another 5 minutes on the right side and tells me I was done and to wait for polish. This was at 1230. I was very confused as he had only used the water pick device (not sure what the name is) and spent a total of 15min on a procedure that typically takes about an hour per quadrant and causes severe discomfort (I didnt feel anything at all and I didnt use any numbing). I express my concern and he says hes just very gentle and leaves. He didnt check his work after the cleaning, didnt use any of the other devices the hygienist had layed out, didnt discuss anything about my dental healthaftercarewhen to come back etc. I highly doubt he looked at my chart at all. I go to the front desk where Im asked to pay 70 copay. I express my concerns to the admin who was kind enough to just charge for a regular cleaning but I honestly feel scammed since even a regular cleaning is more thorough than whatever I got. 2 stars for front desk.

A big thank you to Dr. Green and Tech Brian for the excellent work on my two root canals and temporary crown. Their professionalism and attention to patient care were outstandingthere was absolutely no pain during the procedure! They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Truly grateful!

I had most of my silver fillings replaced with composite here over two appointments. After the first, my tongue was sore for a few days, possibly from a cut during the procedure. After the second, my throat and the side of my mouth felt sore, likely due to the saliva suction pipe being placed too far down. Ive never experienced this much discomfort after cavity fillings before, but Im hopeful for great long-term results. Front desk staff are pleasant!

Dr. Park and his team are amazing! Ive been going to their office for almost two years and it feels great to finally have a dentist (and dental team) that I trust and enjoy visiting. Would highly recommend if youre looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable long term dental team.

This was my first visit to DTLA Smile. Dr. Park and his staff were all welcoming, friendly, kind, respectful and professional. They were all patient and caring and as much as I dont like going to the dentist (who does?), I was immediately made to feel at ease.

I had such a wonderful experience at dtla smile. Being that I literally HATE going to the dentist, Meagan the front desk receptionist and the dental assistant had such a wonderful personality and helped to ease my nerves. Dr. Park also did a wonderful job with my cleaning and filling my cavities while ensuring that I didnt feel a thing. Thank you!! I also greatly appreciate how they are very transparent and honest when it comes to how much everything will cost. I was told beforehand what I would be paying at the end so there were no surprises.

I highly recommend DTLA Smile. Ive been afraid of the dentist and kept neglecting my teeth because of so many horrible dentist experiences Ive had in the past. Decide stop give them a try because its very close to my office and had great reviews. Im very glad I did! Dr. Park is very friendly and you can tell he really cares about the job he does. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and they all seem to enjoy working there which is always a good sign. Another thing I love is they are super upfront about the price and go over it with you when scheduling and before a procedure. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed two months ago and my healing was such a breeze compared to all the stories Ive heard from friends and family. I had no complications and almost no swelling after. Ive also got some filings done and although that will never be a fun experience for me haha, DTLA Smile made it as easy as possible. Im excited to have found them and continue on my smile with them!

Such a welcoming office and great team! Front desk Megan was so accommodating and Im very grateful they were able to fit in my husband and I at the same time and allowed our 9 month old to run rampant in their lobby while mommy and daddy took turns in the dentist chair. Truly a bespoke experience with a team that felt homey and genuinely kind, not the fake nice that professionalism imposes. Glad I found this practice! Thank you guys!
